Elevate Tracks

Elevate is designed to help you make the most of your Campus Labs tools. All sessions are chosen with this core tenant in mind, no matter which products you use.

Course Evaluations

This track is designed for users of a Course Evaluations product (CoursEval, Course Evaluations, or Course Evaluations with IDEA). It will include sessions led by Member Campuses sharing their strategies and successes on topics like how to maximize student response rates, engaging stakeholders in the evaluation process, using results for faculty development efforts and assessment projects, and using formative feedback methods in the classroom. It will also include sessions led by Campus Labs staff on newer product developments, quick trainings on key features, and tips for maximizing the use of the product.

Chalk & Wire

This track is designed for users of the Chalk & Wire toolset. It will include sessions led by Member Campuses sharing their strategies and successes on topics including gaining faculty buy-in for Chalk & Wire adoption, encouraging student use of ePortfolios, effective learning outcomes assessment techniques, expanding use of Chalk & Wire across campus, managing and assessing experiential learning and building or refining your quality assurance system. It will also include sessions led by Campus Labs staff on newer product development, quick trainings on key features and tips for maximizing the use of the product.

Data Collection

This track is designed for users of the Baseline product. It will include sessions led by Member Campuses sharing their strategies and successes on topics like use of rubrics as a direct method, coordinating surveys on campus, developing staff competency with assessment methods, national benchmarking studies, and techniques for closing the loop. It will also include sessions led by Campus Labs staff on newer features, quick trainings on product features, and tips for maximizing the use of the product.

Assessment Management

This track is designed for users of Planning, Outcomes, Program Review, or Accreditation. It will include sessions led by Member Campuses sharing their strategies and successes on topics like assessment planning and reporting, general education assessment design, using learning outcomes frameworks, program review practices, and preparing for accreditation. It will also include sessions led by Campus Labs staff on newer product developments, quick trainings on key features, and tips for maximizing the use of the product.

Analytics

This track is designed for users of Insight and will begin with the Analytics & Business Intelligence Institute (additional registration required). It will include sessions led by Member Campuses and Campus Labs staff sharing their strategies and successes on topics like data governance, available data sources, transforming data into action, and connection of data sets across campus. It will also include sessions led by Campus Labs staff on newer product developments and tips for maximizing the use of the product.

Shared Interest

You’ll also have a number of sessions to pick from that focus on higher education practices not specific to a particular Campus Labs product. In these sessions, members will learn from each other and discuss topics of shared interest, such as building a culture of evidence, gaining faculty and staff buy-in to the assessment process, or using data to impact student success.
