Building on our commitment to your teaching effectiveness

Since the announcement of our partnership last fall, we’ve been hard at work refining our CoursEval and Campus Labs course evaluation platforms. Our goal is always to empower the best outcomes for our Member Campuses. We’ve also been identifying opportunities to bring these two great platforms together, over time, in order to effectively promote best practices for teaching and learning.

Whether you’re a large institution focused on “at scale” evaluations or a single academic department focused on experiential learning, Campus Labs is uniquely positioned to collaborate with you. Rely on our advanced tools to help you capture valuable student feedback, conduct formative or summative assessment, and use your data to make informed decisions about accreditation, program review, or faculty performance review processes.

What You Can Expect in 2018 and Beyond

Even as we continue concurrent development on our CoursEval and Course Evaluations platforms, we’re actively examining opportunities to unite the two. Our ultimate goal is a unified platform that will enhance the experience for all our Member Campus partners.

Within a few months, you’ll be introduced to an even better survey-taking experience—one that will combine a modern user interface with convenient features for your students and efficiency enhancements for administrators.

In the second half of the year, we plan to build on the survey-taking experience by providing you with an even better reporting and analytics experience. This will maximize your flexibility in data extraction and insight generation—two things you've repeatedly told us you need in order to elevate your institution's focus on teaching and learning!

This process of continual evolution and enhancement will progress into 2019 and beyond—eventually touching all the major aspects of administering course evaluations. This includes streamlining the instrument setup and design process, improving distribution and communication tools, and maximizing integration and data management capabilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

We are evolving the functionality in both our course evaluation offerings so that over time we can unify the two platforms. Member Campuses should expect functionality compatible with their existing setups and data, and should not have to change platforms in order to receive enhancements.
You’ll continue to receive the same great support that you have come to expect from your existing CoursEval or Campus Labs Course Evaluations consultants and support team. We’ll also look for ways to bring you an even better support experience regardless of which product you use today, based on the best practices achieved through the collaboration between our CoursEval and Campus Labs Course Evaluations teams.
All existing contracts will be honored. Because future contracts will reference Campus Labs as the issuing company, if you’re an AMS CoursEval customer, you may need to update your W-9 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification). Our team will provide you with that information when you receive any future invoices.
