I've Been Told to Assess My Area-Now What?! An Assessment How-To

Student engagement practitioners understand that programs and experiences both provide pivotal learning opportunities for students. It is important to have data and results to demonstrate that value so it can be used both for accreditation and enhancement. If you are unsure where to start, this session will walk you through the assessment process, providing resources to help at various stages. We will cover everything from creating an assessment plan and identifying the goals and outcomes for your program or assessment, to selecting the right assessment methods and using results creatively and effectively to tell your student engagement story.

Migration Orientation

The Migration Track at Connect 2018 is designed to allow campuses targeting a Summer 2018 migration to complete their Engage training during the conference! Your conference schedule will be built around training and workshop sessions designed to teach you the ins and outs of Engage, and to give you time to rethink, rebuild, or transfer many of your processes to your new community. During the migration pre-con, we will review expectations for our time together at Connect and jump into the product to master the basics of Engage. You'll also have a chance to mingle with your fellow migration cohort joining you in this process. If you are interested in participating in the Migration Track at Connect, please reach out to your campus consultant for more information!
