Connect 2017, July 18-29

Call For Proposals

We know that the best people to share our Member Campus stories are our Member Campuses, so Connect 2017 will again feature sessions led by campus professionals from all over the country. The purpose of these sessions is to provide an opportunity for the exchange of ideas, innovations, and best practices as they relate to CollegiateLink, OrgSync, and the great work you do every day with your student engagement platforms. The 2017 Call for Proposals have closed.

Program Topics

Our attendees come from all corners of student affairs (and beyond) and are open to a range of topic, but just to get your brain started, here are some ideas:

  • Best practices and creative uses of your student engagement platform
  • Engagement and involvement programs
  • Program Design
  • Retention and persistence
  • Strategic planning and assessment
  • Streamlining processes through the use of your student engagement platform
  • Technical integrations with other campus platforms

Submission Guidelines

Connect 2017 will feature 50-minute sessions. Please be sure to incorporate time for questions and answers at the end. We are looking to offer opportunities for member campuses to engage with each other and generate new ideas to take back to campus so as a part of the proposal process we will ask you to highlight what you want all attendees to learn from your presentation and how you will create an opportunity for the audience to interact with you and the content.

We will consider the following when evaluating proposals:

  • Will this session be of high value to attendees?
  • Does this proposal address a “hot topic” at institutions today?
  • Does this presentation offer an opportunity for attendees to interact with the presenter and/ or the content?
  • Does this presentation incorporate the use or goals of your student engagement platform?

"Several of the workshops were directly related to initiatives that we want to pursue on our campus and that helped give examples of what has worked at other campuses and given us great campus connections.”
