Campus Labs Is Honored with 2016 Readers’ Choice Award

Readers Choice Award

Buffalo, NY, November 7, 2016 – For its second annual Readers’ Choice Awards, Campus Technology magazine surveyed hundreds of educational professionals and asked them to name the best solutions on the market. For the second year in a row, Campus Labs was recognized in the category of Student Success/Retention.

The Retention & Success capabilities within the Campus Labs® platform emphasize a holistic solution that includes the use of predictive analytics, early alerts, and student check-ins at campus events and facilities. The integrated toolset also helps campuses assess non-cognitive skills such as resilience and social comfort in order to gain additional insight into an individual student’s level of engagement.

“Our goal is to help campuses truly understand the impact of their programmatic efforts and then customize strategies for individual students,” explained JD White, PhD, Vice President of Product Development. “It’s not simply about collecting data, but connecting and using it to help advisors, faculty, and staff make the best decisions to support the success of their students and meet the retention goals of their institution.”

In the article announcing this year’s winners, Dian Schaffhauser, Senior Contributing Editor for Campus Technology, explained the continuing evolution of how technology is helping colleges and universities meet today’s challenges. “Higher education is shifting away from commodity IT that keeps the show running behind the scenes, and placing new emphasis on main-stage performances: engaging learners in innovative ways to improve student outcomes and measuring that success.”

“We’re proud to be recognized by our peers and industry leaders for a second year in a row,” said Annemieke Rice, Vice President of Campus Success. “And although we appreciate the recognition, we know the results our Member Campuses achieve are still the best indicator of our success.”
