Sharing Assessment Results

Sharing assessment results is a great practice to get staff and student buy-in with the assessment process, improve assessment practices, and learn from one another. This webinar shares information on what makes data useful and best practices in creative ways to share your data with various audiences. During each webinar we will be joined by a Member Campus who will share how they implemented a best practice strategy at their institution.

About the co-presenters:

Malinda M. Matney is Senior Research Associate for the Division of Student Affairs, and is on faculty in the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education at the University of Michigan. Her current work within the student affairs context involves both the assessment of program outcomes and the analysis of trends in student behaviors and expectations over time. Her current research efforts have included work on the millennial generation, hazing behaviors, policy formation through student involvement, and use of social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. She has presented nationally with NASPA, AIR, and PFA, and serves in editorial roles with the Journal of Student Affairs Research and Practice and Oracle Research Journal of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors.

Dominic Barraclough, Director of Assessment and Learning Outcomes and Professor of Counselor Education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, is responsible for the coordination and administration of assessments across non-academic departments on campus. He has led a state-wide effort to promote and coordinate the assessment of student affairs divisions. He has presented nationally on a number of topics and is on the Editorial Board of “The Humanistic Psychologist”.
