Tools for Organizations

Campus Labs streamlines many campus activities process and provides the following tools to manage student organizations:

  • Customize an organization profile with content and graphics.
  • Post articles to a campus news ticker and allow commenting on group discussion “walls”.
  • Manage club rosters and fill positions with newly-recruited members.
  • Send out e-mail or text messages (SMS) to specific officers, event attendees, or an entire organization membership list.
  • Promote events through a virtual flyerboard that simultaneously includes all posted events on a campus-wide calendar.
  • Hold secure online elections for open officer positions.
  • Upload lists of students, send out invitations, monitor RSVP status, and track attendance using card-swipe or barcode readers.
  • Approve service hours completed by organization members.
  • Store electronic documents, photos, and other files and control who can access them.
What our member campuses are saying about CollegiateLink…

“The elections features of CollegiateLink
are extremely user-friendly. The option to create a university-wide, student-wide, or just organization-wide election through customized voter eligibility lists has created a seamless transition to this system. Additionally, the export of results goes straight to Excel so you can analyze and sift through the data right away.  As the administrator of the CollegiateLink site on our campus, I can say with certainty that the elections feature surpassed my expectations.”

Profiles and Social Media

Customizable websites for groups include content management and social media integration. Each organization can have its own custom URL and can modify the look and feel of their profile. Organization leaders can grant the ability to edit site content to other officers or club members.

Roster Management

Invite new students to join an organization and promote existing members into officer positions. The roster can also be used to search for contact information, change membership security access, and send out e-mail or text messages (SMS) to individual members or the entire group.

Officer Elections

Set up customized ballots with candidate bios and photos and then export voting results. Elections can be restricted to specific members or open to the entire organization. Ballots can include a variety of question types including single or multiple-choice, ranking, and write-ins. Voter anonymity is protected by separating the votes cast from user identification.

Document Storage

Maintain an archival record of organizational activity and pass down files from year to year. Online record-keeping can be used for anything from meeting minutes to event photo albums. Security access controls whether files are restricted to the organization or open to the world to view through the group’s profile website.
